The hotel is in a lovely location, perfect for those who enjoy walks in the Peak District with stunning views from the garden. The rooms are a bit dated but come with a lovely warm hot tub. The service was overall good, although some staff could benefit from more customer training. The dining experience had room for improvement, especially with the cold and overcooked full English breakfast. The facilities were adequate, but there is room for enhancement.
